Best invention ever!
I have used these for years and was happy to get a quantity greater than the 3 that come in the grocery store packages. Just that little bit of soft scrub on the one side makes a difference in getting things cleaner. 👍🏻

No more streaks on my Granite, stove & Stainless..Love these sponges.
LOVE these sponges, and the Size . The water squeeze's out Easy, no more water marked streaks on my granite counters, stove top, and stainless. There soft, 100% plant based fiber. Recycle. Both sides are Soft. These do Not have the scrubby on one side. (Yay) I put them in the dishwasher, and also the micro for 2 mins. to sterilize them. They last a Long time, and do not smell.. I have small hands, long fingers, so if you have larger hands, or are a man, you might like the larger size.! Although My hubby likes this size. ( he does not use them much!!) When Wet, measure: 4 1/2 inch wide, 3 inch tall, 1/2 inch thick.. Don't let the size fool you. There amazing for the size. These are hard to find, and worth the price..

Great buy
I bought I guess enough to last 2 years. When it gets a little too gritty I just throw it into the dishwasher and it springs back to lift. I try to be more green whenever I can, and it is good to know that the kitchen sponge is an opportunity as well. UPDATE 5/23/13 Down to the last sponge. I have a dishwasher so this is just for those more extreme dishes. But looking back I think maybe these sponges don't hold up after repeated use compared to the bright yellow versions. Or maybe they withstand the same amount of abuse/use. I guess one sponge a month is a normal. But I would have preferred 2-3 months between sponges.

These Sponges Perfectly Fill My Wish for a Pleasant Looking, Environmentally Sound Sponge
I discovered these sponges while staying at a delightful eco-hotel room with full kitchen in Las Vegas. I was attracted to the lovely, natural color, but I was suspicious because I loathed the ubiquitous green and yellow Scotch-Brite sponges available in every store. Their chemical reek and their short life as a sponge were my main objections. But during my short stay at the hotel, I was duly impressed and bought a dozen when I got home. That was nearly six months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. In that time, I’ve come to appreciate the ‘scouring’ side too. Although it’s certainly as durable as their widely accept synthetic version, its scouring qualities aren’t quite as strong as the synthetic, but I find it very pleasing that the natural scouring side has enough ‘lifting’ ability to remove ‘buttery’ substances from surfaces very nicely without having to flip over to the sponge side. Most remarkable and revealing, however, is that despite not being saturated with offensive anti-bacterial chemicals like the green and yellow ones, not one of these sponges I’ve exhausted has acquired any unpleasant odors from not having the ‘benefit’ of anti-bacterial chemicals—whereas the green and yellow ones invariably did. So, congratulations to Scotch-Brite for having ‘seen the light’, recognized a need for a more intelligent and useful product, and made the leap. Hopefully, the buying public will recognize their gesture.

Works like a regular sponge
I bought these as a compromise with my sister. I'm trying to be more eco friendly and she wants to keep using sponges. Just remember to wring it out and put it up after each use.

Good human here
Trying to be good human here. Anything to eliminate unbiodegradable trash. This sponge works the same as other sponge. Mostly we use dishwasher but pots and pan we clean with this.

Great natural sponge!
I'm so glad Scotch-Brite came out with natural sponges. I stopped using the colored ones because I was seeing blue colored soap when I was washing my dishes and didn't want the chemicals. I was using a natural sponge without a scrubber, but really missed the scrubbing side. I even used a dish brush, but it didn't work as well as the scrubber on some things. It's nice to have an environmentally friendly sponge that work so well.

Happy with purchase
I can't find these locally; all the stores I have looked in only seem to sell the version with a scrubbing side. These are plain sponges, which is all I want and I like that they are not in rainbow fruity colors.

Plant based scrubby sponges
I love these sponges because they have no plastic yet work like the ones that do. Unfortunately, Amazon sent them in a paper/plastic envelope that cannot be recycled, which reduces the environmental benefit. I'm thinking that, overall, the benefit is still slightly greater than buying the plastic sponges in the store but you'll have to decide for yourself.

The only sponge I buy
Great eco-friendly product. I’ve been using these for a few years. These sponges honestly last just about as long as a regular sponge. I enjoy that these are made of natural materials instead of plastics.
